He was predeceased by: his parents, John Betke and Evelyn Betke (VanEerden); his wife Judith Betke; his son-in-law Jesus Sanabria; and his sister-in-law Kathy Betke.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Sanabria, John Betke (Roselyn), Dave Nozal (Laurie), Sherry Holdren (Mike) and Jim Nozal (Laurie); and his brothers, Ralph Betke (Gloria) and Hank Betke. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Egberts name may be made to the Croton American Legion Post 381.
