She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Norden and Helen Norden (Imbrock); her husbands, Alfred Knape and Norman Avers; her daughter Clarissa Knape; and her siblings, Victor Norden, Delora Helmke and Velma Freytag.
She is survived by: her children, John Knape (Linda) of Clinton, Rosanne Knape (Ron Cocco) of Green Valley, AZ and Philip Knape (Judy) of Newaygo, MI; her stepdaughter Stacy Smith of Sebring, FL; and her sister-in-law Irene Norden. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sand Lake, Michigan.
