It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald James Voogd of Newaygo, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on December 25, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vicky Meeuwenberg; his children, Dan Longnecker of Flint, Jennifer Hacht (Chuck) of Caledonia, Ross Voogd (Charity) of Middleville, Alex Voogd (Cassandra) of Middleville, Kiana Longnecker of Greenville, Crystal Hardy (Benjamin) of Georgia and Katie Ebert (Jason) of Colorado; his siblings, Ronald Voogd (Pati) of Allendale, Lorie Bieschke of Belding and Karen Voogd of Grand Rapids; and his parents, Henry Voogd and Barbara Voogd (Merren). He was also cherished by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews; and many special friends.
Wearing a mask is strongly encouraged by the family.
