She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Schlafley and Vernis Schlafley (Davis); her husband Lester Claude Lemon; and her children, Linda Kay McEntee, Robert Lee Goorhouse, Jr. and Richard Eugene Goorhouse.
She is survived by: her sister Kathleen Damaska; her daughters, Debra Lynn Ritsema and Joanne Sue DeWeese; her son-in-law Don McEntee; and her grandchildren, Nicole Chupp (Josh), Jaycee Curnett, Mario Solano, Richard Goorhouse, Jr., Ashley Lutzen (Jerry), Jeffrey McEntee, Nichole Yeager, Dustin Goorhouse and Eric Goorhouse.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fields-McKinley Funeral and Cremation Services Newaygo Chapel (226 State St, Newaygo, MI 49337). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Legion Post 381, 6812 S. Croton Hardy Dr., Newaygo, MI 49337.
