He was predeceased by: his sisters, Leona Hinton and Rita Swanson. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Deur; his children, Christopher Makin (Kimberly) and Tracey Crowley (Shane); his grandchildren, Brittni Hobbs (Byron), Calvin, Cora Crowley, Lillie and Emily Makin; his great grandchildren, Evelynn, Elaynah and Lucille Hobbs; and his brother Marshall Makin.
