With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher John Nelson of Newaygo, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on July 25, 2022 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary Lou, Henry "Hank" Hopkins, Kenneth and Frances Nelson. He is survived by: his parents, John Nelson and Barbara Nelson (Witteveen); his daughter Dawn Siersema (Jessie); his granddaughter Harper Siersema; his sister Kimberly Nelson; and his girlfriend Tricia Hunter. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, & cousins.
