She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Crampton and Bernadine Crampton (Veneklase); her son John Bekker, Jr.; and her siblings, Jane Voss and Bud Crampton.

She is survived by: her husband John Bekker; her children, Mary Rekucki (Terrance) of Cedar Springs, Margaret Schmidt (Tom) of Comstock Park, Robert Bekker (Sue) of Kent City, William Bekker of Grand Rapids and James Bekker of Grand Rapids; and her siblings, Kathy DeWitte (Kevin), Tom Crampton, Bob Crampton (Shirley) and Dave Crampton (Sue). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
