He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Ilene Dostie (Sheridan); his daughters, Peggy Leigh VanderWal and Tina Louise Dostie; and his siblings, Dorothy Miller (Merton), Barbara Thorne (Russell), Louise Lindsley (Daniel), James and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, James Dostie (Mary) of Cape Coral, Florida, Suzanne Stock (Michael) of Holland, Michigan, Dennis Weber of Holland, Michigan and April Petersen (Rick) of White Cloud, Michigan; his grandchildren, Philip Balmer, Stephanie Neenan, Sarah Dostie, Anna Dostie, Erica Dostie and Miles Stock; and his great grandchild Brinlee Balmer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Salvation Army.
