Alma Jean Brunsting Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Jean Brunsting of Newaygo, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrian Hirdes and Ann Hirdes (Woodwyk); her husband Lawrence "Larry" Brunsting; her brother Donald Hirdes; and her sister-in-law Wilma Hirdes.
She is survived by: her children, Larry "David" Brunsting (Paula), Randy Brunsting, Alan Brunsting (Karen) and Peggy Perkins; her foster daughter Deb Hofstra (Dave); her brothers, Cliff Hirdes (Bev), Vern Hirdes (Sadie) and Rev. Ron Hirdes; her sister-in-law Judy Hirdes; and her granddaughter Sarah Wierenga. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution in Alma's honor to Northland Church of Christ.
