She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Kenneth May; her son John Martin May; and her parents, Henrietta Birkmeier and LaVern Birkmeier. She is survived by: her siblings, Joe (Kathy Birkmeier), Wayne (Jan Birkmeier), Ted (Sue Birkmeier), Verna (Maurice Yaklin), Gary (Rose Birkmeier), Gordon (Pat Birkmeier) and Nick (Patty Birkmeier); her sons, Thomas Kenneth May Jr., Steven (Barbara May), Darin (Shae May), Kevin (Shelly May) and Don (Ellen May); and her daughter-in-law Linda Lawrence May. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations be made to Alzheimer's Association or Dementia Society of America.
