He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Havalda and Virginia Havalda (Hanifan). He is survived by: his spouse Lyna Herald; his children, Lacy Shea Havalda and Mark Joseph Havalda II; his sisters, Debbie Kersjes (John) and Diane Demenov (George); his parents-in-law, Letch and Aloma Herald; and his nieces, Tara Birchmeier (Jerry), Cheyenne Kersjes, Christina Piotrowski (Jason) and Shelby Demenov.
