He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Ryan Beals and Matthew Beals; his stepchildren, Dr. Amit Sachdeva (Rebecca Rubin), Dr. Alok Sachdeva (Sarah) and Rishi Sachdeva (Sarah Becker); his stepgrandchildren, Ruby Sachdeva and Sam Sachdeva; and his brother Joseph Beals M. D. (Julie).
