He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Wert and Evelyn Wert. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hewitt; his children, Debbie Wert and Robert Wert Jr.; and his stepdaughter Diana Yungbluth. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
