He was predeceased by: his parents, William Folson Jr. and Lovie Lee Webster; his daughter Lori A Folson; and his brothers, Keith, Sidney and Lance Folson.
He is survived by: his wife Lauren K. Bankhead; his sons, Phillip D. Folson Jr. (Elona) of Rosamond and Forrest W. Folson (Erica) of Clay Twp, MI; his siblings, Carolyn Folson-Clifton of Greensboro, NC. and William Folson III of Ray Twp; his grandchildren, Nicole R. Folson-Eckles, Bryce W. Folson, Cassius W. Folson and Ermias B. Folson; his great grandchild Harper R. Folson-Eckles; and his close friends, Dea, Thelma Daniels, Ira, Pearl Barnes, Sandy, Karen Kincaid, Brett and Suzette Harris. He is also survived by sisters- in-law and two brothers- in-law, a host of uncles and aunts, numerous nephews and nieces.
