With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. McCartney of New Haven, Michigan, born in Castle, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 3, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Matthews and Ona Matthews; her spouse Jerry McCartney; and her daughter Patty Mattas. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Mattas (Gwen), Debra Mayek (Tim), David Mattas (Carla) and Jeremy McCartney (Joanna); and her brother Fred Matthews. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
