He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. Simmons and Tressa Jane Simmons (McCoy). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Krause; his daughters, Thressa Miles, Veronica Larrabee (Joseph), Patricia Valentine (Kenneth), Rebeccia Simmons and Christinia Prock (Paul); and his brother Wilbur Simmons (Hermina). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
