It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Fessenden of New Era, Michigan, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Leutzinger and Lena Leutzinger (Grinwis); her husband Claire Fessenden (Fuzz); her siblings, Jerry Leutzinger and Sharon Johnsen; her siblings-in-law, Bob Holmberg, Russell, Opal, Ivan, Betty, George, Irene, Ken, Dorothy, Frieda, Leroy Tanner, Phyllis, Robert Putney and Bob Isley; and her sons-in-law, Mike Porte and Lyle Brummel.

She is survived by: her children, Roger Fessenden (Kathy), Debra Wolting (Wally), Douglas Fessenden (Laura), Mary Schouten (Curt), Ruth Pecott (Terry) and Becky Jo; her sisters, Betty Isley and Carol Holmberg; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Leutzinger and Earl Johnsen.
