Pershing Helms Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Pershing Helms of New Buffalo, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Pershing left this world on February 6, 2025 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pershing Hubert and Mary Lee Helms (Moore); his grandchild Claire Marie; and his siblings, James Helms, Billy Joe Helms and Sandra Kay Helms.
He is survived by: his children, Lora Sparks (Billy) of LaPorte, IN and Matt Helms (Gina) of New Buffalo, MI; his grandchildren, David, Keenon, Maddie and CJ; and his great grandchildren, Maiya and Daniel. He is also survived by his sisters.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Buffalo American Legion Post #169 (19121 US-12, New Buffalo, MI 49117).
