She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Joy and Viola Joy (Brock); her former husband Keith Burns; her husband Edwin Thomas Shiel; her son Robert Keith Burns; and her siblings, Marie Raypole, Mabel Warner and Hobart Eugene Joy.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Trevor Sheil (Jonelle) of Stevensville, MI, Edwin Polk (Deborah) of Glendale, AZ, Krystal MacFarlane (Loyal) of Arizona and Robin Wilson of Glendale, AZ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
