He was predeceased by: his brother Gerald Bonifate. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Bonifate of New Buffalo; his children, Robert Jones of Michigan City, Kristie Pirkel (Ted) of Three Oaks, Julia Lear of New Buffalo, James Lear (Jessica) of LaPorte and Joel Lear (Sydney) of Hartford; his grandchildren, Victoria Pirkel, Daniella Burns (Jonathan), Brady Stambaugh, Wesley Pirkel, Jason Pirkel, Nova Lear and Luna Lear; his great grandchild Charlotte; his brothers, John Bonifate (Gloria) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and James Bonifate (Kimberley) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and his sisters-in-law, Verdean Fleck of Lehigh Acres and Jetta Masters of Three Oaks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
