He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward I Mullen and Elnora Mullen (McConkey); his wife Juanita Reba Adams; and his siblings, Warren Mullen, Jo Meyers, Eve Stasak and Barbara Victery.
He is survived by: his children, Mary L. Mullen, Sylvia L. Koepke (Craig), J. Serena Purtha (Rick) and Jim E. Mullen Jr. (Jean). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister.
