It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Margaret Hayes of New Buffalo, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Wilbur and Kathleen Wilbur (Wheeler); her brother James Wilbur; her brother-in-law Peter Fioresi; her long-time love Thomas Ray; and also Hazel Burns.

She is survived by: her siblings, Helen Fioresi of Lake and Thomas M. Wilbur of Michigan City, IN..

Memorial donations in Janet's name may be made to The New Buffalo Library or New Buffalo High School.
