With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Halun of New Buffalo, Michigan, born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Halun and Sophia Halun (Uschyslawska); his former wife Joyce Herrington; and his siblings, Robert and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his significant other Lenora Senovic; his children, Debra Keating (late Richard) of Highland Park, IL and Michael of Prairieville, LA; his sister Sandra Harwood (Edward) of American Canyon, CA; and his grandchildren, Sarah Fript (Brian Stachowiak) of Chicago, IL and Brian Regel of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by one great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
