He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Marian Smith. He is survived by: his wife Martha Smith of New Buffalo; his children, Carla Sanderson (Steve) of California, Richard Smith of Nevada and Randall Smith of Hudsonville; his stepdaughters, Barbara Dabbs (Robert) of Buchanan and Jayne Powell (Dale) of New Buffalo; and his sister Alice Perrin (Howard) of Hudsonville. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
