He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Cooke of Rockwood, Joseph Banas (Charlotte) of Newport, John Banas of Belleville, Patrick Banas (Paula) of Belleville, Rebecca Banas of Brownstown, Sarah Harrington (Jon) of Belleville, Elizabeth Banas of Lincoln Park, Rachel Banas of New Boston and Richard Littler (JoAnne) of Romulus; and his siblings, Stanley Banas (late Ethel) of New Boston and Josephine Kalfayan (Larry) of Newport. He is also survived by six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.
