She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Atkinson and Carmen Atkinson. She is survived by : her husband Wesley Measel Jr.; her son Edward Measel; her daughter-in-law Casey Measel; and her grandson Logan.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Park (32163 Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134).
