He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. Collins and Jane Collins (Stringer); and his sister Kay. He is survived by: his wife Mary Collins; his children, Mark Collins (Heidi), Christopher John Collins, Melinda Wallace (Michael), Kevin Patrick Collins, Ann Hatten, David Hatten and Maggie Jesko (Cam); and his grandchildren, Sean, Kady, Nathan, Cal, Kelsey and Seth.
