He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Ciak and Clara Ciak. He is survived by: his spouse Suzanne; his children, Shawn Friede (Matthew), Nicholas Ciak (Jessi) and Sara Smart; his siblings, Thomas Ciak (Colleen) and Jane Danak (John); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Alexander and Leah.
