He was predeceased by: his father Harold Miller; his wife Susan Miller; his son Russell Miller; his brother Kent Miller; and his mother Arline Campbell (Miller).

He is survived by: his significant other Susan Johnson; his children, Christine Okler (James), Kathi Parker Jr. (Thomas) and Jay Miller (Stacy); his daughter-in-law Donna Miller; his grandchildren, Lee Booth, Jerry Okler, Jamey Tackett (Dan), Thomas Parker III (Marci), Peter Parker, Joel Parker (Mackenna), Alexandra Holden (Tim) and Jason Miller (Christina); his sister-in-law Judy Cvetezar; and his niece Jodi Cvetezar. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church and St. Louis Center in Chelsea.
