She is survived by: her husband Gerald Giese; her children, Brian Giese (Lisa), Dana Marshall (Dan) and Lori Giese; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Caitlin, Evan, Noah and Ashton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, a cause close to Diane's heart, reflecting her compassion and care for others.
