We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2023, at the age of 60, Daniel Lance Higgs of New Boston, Michigan, born in Wayne, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Karen Ann Higgs (Wolcott). He is survived by: his father David Higgs, Sr. of Westland, MI; his wife Diana Higgs of New Boston, MI; his children, Jennifer Bolin (Issac) of Blissfield, MI, Jon Higgs (Sharon) of Monroe, MI and Jason Higgs (Tiffany) of Dundee, MI; his grandchildren, Caden, Karen, Michael, Ayden, Bently, Lilly, Kaylee, Riley, Steven and Gavin; and his siblings, Deanna Johnson of Riverview, MI, Dennis Higgs, David Higgs (Niki), Darren Higgs and Dawn Wallace (Jeremy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, special friends, and his trucking family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.

“Although I only knew Dan for a short time, he was such a nice man. truly loved and adored his family, he would stop in the office and often talk about them. Dan was always there with a helping hand especially when I was knew to KAG and had never worked with tankers before. I know he will be truly missed by so many. My prayers are with Dan's family in this time of heartache and sadness.”

“I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dan. He was a good guy and a great friend. Dan has delivered chemicals for the last 10 years to Woodbridge. He was here 2 -3 times a week, which was always fun while hanging out while we did the unload. He always had my back, which I am sure he was that way with all of his family and friends. I know that he truly loved his family, especially DeDe. He would always tell stories of her, his kids, and all of the grand kids. He will be truly missed. Duane Mead.”
