He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel, Sr. Cruz and Aurora Cruz; his sisters, Mary and Esperanza; and his brother-in-law Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Cruz; his children, Daniel Cruz III (Jessica) and Ramona Lamb (Tim); his grandsons, Jacob, Ethan and Noah; his close friend Julian Cruze; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Calvin, Marcus D., Donna Lynn, Elaine and Christina.
