She was predeceased by: her husband Sherman P. Acord; her daughter Carol J. Jones; her grandchildren, Michael R. Acord Jr. and Tonya L. Jones; her siblings, Charlotte Mullican, Hoarce McDaniel (Mac), Samuel Bennett and Ronald Bennett; and her parents, Raymond Bennett and Ocie Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Merritt (Hiram), Sherry Lindamood (Chad), Sherman Paul Acord Jr., Michael Acord (Paula) and Ronald Acord (Tracy). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
