He is survived by: his wife Laurie (Wellman); his children, Leslie Piacentini (C. J.) and Martin "Marty" (Milissa); his grandsons, Giovanni Piacentini (Carly) and Trevor; his great grandchildren, Amelia and Caleb; and his sisters, Elaine Roberson (Don) and Shirley Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
