It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Rae Bird of New Baltimore, Michigan, born in River Rouge, Michigan, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and Madeline Brown (Stonebrook); her husband Robert Bird; and her siblings, Maxine Chambo (late Alfred), Harold Brown, Shirley Krebs (late Robert) and Richard Brown (late Joyce).

She is survived by: her children, Robert Bird (Laura), Steve Bird (Teresa), John Bird and Sheri Kessler (Thomas); her grandchildren, Zachary, Kyle, Nicholas and Faith; her sister Patricia Knight (William); and her sibling-in-law Glema Weaver.

Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
