He was predeceased by: his parents, Rich Marcero and Lorraine Marcero; and his brother Richard (Patt) of California. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia; and his siblings, Cheryl Pipe of Tennessee, Lynne Golden of Pennsylvania and Dale (Kathy) of New Baltimore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home - Gendernalik Chapel (35259 23 Mile Rd, New Baltimore, MI 48047). The lying in state was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Queen of Creation Church (50931 Maria St, New Baltimore, MI 48047). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
