She was predeceased by: her parents, Stuart Griswold and Dorothy Griswold (Smith); and her siblings, Charles Griswold and Charlotte Krzeminski. She is survived by: her pets, Penny and Nickels; her husband Jeffery A. Jacobs; her brother Stuart Griswold; her daughters, Lisa Verellen (Scott) and Michelle Baumeister (Tom); and her grandchildren, Tommy Baumeister, Tori Verellen, Jake Verellen and Zack Verellen. She is also survived by many other family members including brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michigan Humane Society or Cat Tail Kitties Rescue, organizations Mary felt strongly about.
