He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Pohly and Louise Pohly of New Haven. He is survived by: his siblings, Janice Hedge of Lenox Township, Linda Pohly of Muncie, Indiana and George of New Baltimore; his nephew Joshua Hedge (Danielle Dart) of Lenox Township; his niece Kathryn Hedge (Shawn McDade) of Shelby Township; and his great-nieces, Leah, Emma, Nora, Sara and Kennadie.

Due to COVID-19 protocols, a private funeral, the Rev. Brian Steele officiating, will be Saturday morning.
