He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bernard and Ida Hulda Stobar (Dronsella); and his wife Jeraldine Stobar (Bridgeford). He is survived by: his children, Lori Scott (Roger), Jon, Bradley (Donna) and Chris Stobar; and his grandchildren, Lexi Franchi (Rede), Julieanna Rettew (Ethan), Matthew Scott, Lindsey Davidson (Jeremiah), Chelsea Veeren (Cole), Nicholas, Andrew, William, Emily, Madeline, Henry, Sophia, Lucy and Benjamin. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6745 Palms Road, Fair Haven, MI 48023.
