He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Collins and Evelyn Collins (LaFray); his wife Josephine Oliverio; his children, Thomas, Julie Rickel (Michael), Steven Collins (Denise) and Jaime Collins; his grandchildren, Christian Rickel, Andrew Rickel, Mary Caporuscio, Frank Collins, Joe Collins and Steve Collins; and his siblings, Deanne Talantis (Nick), Susan Collins, John Collins (Molly), Bill Collins (Ruth), Margaret Lucero and Fran Lautner.
Memorials may be made to the Josephine Collins Scholarship Fund at L'Anse Creuse High School in Harrison Township.
