It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Maki (Negaunee, Michigan), born in Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Diane Maki (Sleeman); his children, Scott Maki of Grand Rapids, Mark Maki (Caroline) of Vicksburg, MI, Beth Champion (Mark) of Green Bay, Gina Onderak (Michael) of Crystal Falls, Kenneth Bjork (Sara) of Ishpeming and Shelly Bjork (David Falls) of Randville; his mother-in-law Cecile Sleeman; his grandchildren, Sydney, Toni, Kristina, Tyler, Kyle, Lindsey, Brad, Cecilia, Gavin, Michael, Annie, Alyssa, Fara, Hudson, Vivian and Owen; and his sister Rosalee Holmi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
