He was predeceased by: his parents, Waino Kunnari and Maria Kunnari (Phillips); and his brothers, William, James and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his sons, David Kunnari of Glendale, CA, Wayne Kunnari (Renee) of Negaunee and Michael Kunnari of Chicago; his grandson Jacob Kunnari of Negaunee; and his niece Debbie Kunnari.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Wayne's memory to UPAWS.
