He is survived by: his brother Charles Kangas (Lisa) of Negaunee Township; his nieces, Elisa Card (Russell) of Waukesha, WI, Tashina Kallioinen (David Bellomy) of Columbus, OH and Jessica Chaperon (Nate) of Negaunee Township; and his nephew Matthew Kangas of Calumet.
