He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhardt Gustafson and Helen Gustafson (Willig); his siblings, David Paul Gustafson, Sandra Jean and Lynn Marie Gustafson; and his sister-in-law Eudora McKenzie Gustafson (Mark).
He is survived by: his siblings, Reva Laituri (David) of Negaunee, Alvin Gustafson of Forsyth Township, Mark Gustafson of Ishpeming and Luke Gustafson (Trudy) of Palmer.
For several years he volunteered for UPAWS, picking up donation canisters and offered his services as a volunteer designated driver for parties and events.
