He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Kivisto and Veino Kivisto (Laitala); his brother Douglas Kivisto; and his brother-in-law Burton Kipling. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Kivisto (Kipling); his children, Greg Kivisto (Patti) of Negaunee Township and Linda Cornell (Paul) of Summervile, SC; his grandchildren, Ashley Maddock (Mike), Brett Nelson (Tonya), Ashley Nelson (Sam Collins), Melissa Prince (Nick) and Jared Cornell (Cassidy); his great grandchildren, Conner, Vivianne, Gatlin, Cash, Carmen, Mackenzie and Cole; and his brother-in-law Clayton Kipling.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Ron's memory to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Eastwood Nursing Center Activity Fund.
