He was predeceased by: his parents, John Symons and Mary Louise Symons (Leveille); and his brother Michael Symons. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Krysten; his wife Bonitia Symons (Hillis); his children, Shawna Lee Symons, Marissa Louise Symons, Natasha Corrine Symons, Katrina Ann Symons, John Daniel O'Neill and Mitchell Kenneth O'Neill (Krysten); his granddaughter Annabella Louise O'Neill; and his siblings, John Symons, Kathleen Symons, Patricia Garbett (Howard), Sheree Pelletier and Julie Heidtman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
