He was predeceased by: his parents, John Aper and Mary Aper (Gorowski); and his siblings, Susan Aper, Bill and James Aper.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Simonsen; his children, Rick Aper of Rock, MI, Rhonda Sellner (Chris) of Swisher, IA and Ryan Aper (Rebecca) of Levering, MI; his grandchildren, Payton, Camille, Colin, Kyle and Carson; and his brothers, Bob Aper (Brenda) of Perkins, MI, Tom Aper (Karen) of Perkins, MI and Gary Aper (Ginger) of Perkins, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
