He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick H. Chartre and Beaulah M. Chartre (Cappaert); his son Steven Chartre; and his grandson Ethan. He is survived by: his wife Kay Chartre (Lanyon); his sons, James Chartre of Negaunee and Nicholas Chartre (Jenna) of Ishpeming; his siblings, Judi Pietsch (Jon) of Denmark, WI and Douglas Chartre of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren, Ashley Chartre, Justin Chartre, Rachael Chartre and Zachary Chartre; and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Emmett and Macy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
