He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Merrick and Wanda Merrick (Banachowski); and his brothers-in-law, Sherman Garrison and Tom Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Merrick (Patierno); his sons, Matt Merrick of Ferndale and Andrew Merrick of Farmington Hills; his sister Carol Gordon of Dearborn; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Munson (Warren) of Negaunee, Janet Patierno of Milwaukee, Don Patierno (Linda) of Alexandria, VA and Michael Patierno (Mary Fran) of Lutz, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Jerry's memory to St. Paul Catholic Church, Negaunee.
