It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Eugene Anderson of Negaunee, Michigan, born in Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Anderson (Olsen); his siblings, Douglas and Christine; and his close friend Diane Dishaw. He is survived by: his children, Russell Anderson (Melanie) of Newport, MI and Sherri Chastain (Frank) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Samantha, Nathan Anderson and Amber Chastain; his great grandchild Madison Kurian; and his siblings, Thomas Anderson (Alice) of Negaunee, Marilyn Davis (Brian) of Tucson, AZ and Marsha Manginen (Jay) of Champion. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
